Today, Frontier Developments officially released Jurassic World Evolution 3 update 1.2.8 for free on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
Jurassic World Evolution 3 update 1.2.8 introduces the Dracorex and Liopleurodon family units, kicking off the game’s Jurassic June content celebrations. Players can now breed, raise, and manage Dracorex populations alongside the title’s existing dinosaur line-up, further enhancing the game’s multi-generation ecosystem system.
The Liopleurodon is a massive marine reptile that previously appeared in earlier Jurassic World titles and returns with a complete family unit system. Just like the Dracorex, players can now breed and manage multiple generations of the aquatic predator, while also offering new opportunities for lagoon-focused locations in park designs.
Jurassic World Evolution 3 update 1.2.8 is the latest in a series of recent patches aimed at expanding and stabilizing the game. Previous updates introduced plenty of other family units, such as Cryolophosaurus, Amargasaurus, Majungasaurus, and Deinocheirus, while also delivering bug fixes, performance improvements, and quality-of-life features.
The developers have stated that more content is expected throughout the month, though what exactly the specifics are regarding what it will be or its exact release date have yet to be revealed. Recent updates have focused heavily on quality-of-life improvements and have addressed stability issues, dinosaur behavior bugs, localization problems, and park-building mechanics, helping improve overall gameplay performance across platforms.
Jurassic World Evolution 3 is available now, starting at $59.99. For more information on this and other previous releases for the dinosaur simulator, be sure to check back to Simulation Daily for updates.
