Today, HoYoverse announced that Honkai: Star Rail Version 4.7, titled “Now, Lay Laughter to All Stars,” will officially launch on November 11, 2026.
Honkai: Star Rail Version 4.7 “Now, Lay Laughter to All Stars” will bring the Planarcadia storyline to a close, introduce Aeon Aha as a playable character, and set the stage for the final Phantasmoon Games, a cosmic showdown that will determine the fate of the universe. The event centers on the awakening of the Voracity, a powerful leviathan sealed for more than a thousand Amber Eras during Aha’s Phantasmoon Games.
As the creature threatens to regain its strength and devour the universe, Aha summons eight Supplicants to enter the Final Phantasmoon Games aboard the Starfroster, which is a cake-like vessel that will sail across the sea of stars as part of an elaborate plan to lure the leviathan into battle. Aha will oversee the spectacle while preparing to face the Voracity alongside the Trailblazer.
One of the biggest additions in Honkai: Star Rail Version 4.7 is Aeon Aha, a limited 5-star character following the Path of Elation. After millennia of observing the cosmos’s joys and tragedies through theatrical performances and pranks, Aha will finally take a direct role in the events unfolding across the universe.
In combat, Aha will enhance the Path of Elation for other Elation characters, allowing them to unlock unique abilities, and they will also introduce a new mechanic called Aha Instant, which accelerates Elation Skill performances. During combat, the entire team will continuously generate Wishpower for Aha.
Once the gauge is filled, players can activate Aha’s Ultimate to deal Elation damage to all enemies. Aha’s Aeonic Authority will also let allied attacks directly reduce enemy maximum HP, adding another layer to the character’s combat abilities.
Honkai: Star Rail Version 4.7 will also bring back several limited 5-star characters through its rerun banners. The first half will feature Silver Wolf LV.999, Sparxie, and Yao Guang, while the second half will include Acheron, Dan Heng • Imbibitor Lunae, and Jing Yuan.
Another major addition is Affinitive Eidolon, a new character progression system that gives designated characters additional combat abilities. Players who own eligible characters and unlock their corresponding Affinitive Eidolons will gain access to exclusive enhancements.
Acheron, Dan Heng • Imbibitor Lunae, and Jing Yuan will be the first characters to receive these upgrades, giving players additional options when building their teams. Several new activities and events will also arrive with the update. The Fluffy Movie: Overheated will have players help Aha run a dessert shop to earn Gold Coins, while the new combat event Interastral Peace Gala: Road to Fame will offer additional challenges.
Currency Wars will also receive its second season, titled Voyage Into the Canvas, bringing a substantial expansion to the permanent gameplay mode. Players will additionally have the opportunity to obtain Aha’s limited Star Lotto outfit and other rewards through the Phantasia Showstage event.
An animated short titled A Joyful Funeral Beneath the Moon will also debut on November 11 alongside the update, while a new musical track, Ex Nihilo, will accompany the conclusion of the Planarcadia storyline.
Honkai: Star Rail is currently available on PC, iOS, Android, Epic Games Store, and PlayStation 5. HoYoverse also confirmed that the game has surpassed 150 million total downloads across all platforms.
