PQube and developer Wild Sheep Studio have announced that their cozy animal adventure Adorable Adventures will be releasing on the Nintendo Switch 2. The game will come to the console digitally next month on November 12, and physically as a game key card early next year on January 28, 2027.
In Adorable Adventures, players take the role of a curious baby boar named Boris as he searches for his siblings after a forest fire separates them. Boris uses his strong sense of smell to track his siblings, and he must resist distracting scents along the way. Players will be able to explore a beautifully detailed park that is inspired by the Cévennes National Park in Southern France. Additionally, there are plenty of playful side activities to enjoy as Boris goes on his journey of growth and self-discovery.
Although Boris wants to find his brothers and sisters, the game is laid-back and slow-paced. Players can take their time to enjoy the park’s peaceful atmosphere and soothing nature sounds. Boris’s sense of smell can be filtered to follow specific things to navigate the park and make exciting discoveries. There are time trial races, photography challenges, a quest to tidy up the park, and a mystery of a local legend to solve.
Once Boris finds a sibling, he’ll need to solve a puzzle that matches their individual personality to get them to join him on his adventure. There is also a friendly park ranger named Maxime who helps guide Boris along his journey.
At launch, the Nintendo Switch 2 version of the game will include the Family Fun update, which was released as a free content update back in September. This update gives Boris and his siblings new items to hold and decorations to wear, as well as a hide-and-seek mini-game to play.
This will be the second physical edition of Adorable Adventures to hit shelves; the physical PlayStation 5 version of the game is releasing on November 12, the same day the game becomes available digitally on the Switch 2.
