The gaming industry has delivered some more gaming news today, including headlines about House Flipper 2, Cinema Theater Tycoon, and Solo Leveling: Arise Overdrive.

Here at Simulation Daily, we publish roundups with more gaming news that couldn’t be covered in individual articles to keep you up to date with the work and games from a wider variety of developers than we otherwise could.

Take a look at some of the headlines from today’s news.

House Flipper 2 Custom Materials Update Now Available

Frozen District has shared that House Flipper 2’s Custom Materials Update is available now. This update expands the support of community-made custom content, allowing players to use wallpapers, furniture patterns, wood types, metals, stones, bricks, and more that members of the game’s community have created.

Custom content will now sync automatically in co-op mode, and houses and jobs from mod.io will download any missing files for players to see. The update also adds an in-game content library for managing creations, a refreshed mod.io browser in-game, a web uploader for custom pictures, a Blender add-on for making materials, and the option to turn off the day/night cycle.

You can see where this update falls in the development roadmap in the image below.

Cinema Theater Tycoon Gets Newly Updated Demo

SouthWest Games has announced that Cinema Theater Tycoon has had a major update made to its demo, and it’s available to try out now. This new version brings the demo up to date with the latest improvements made during the game’s development, including gameplay changes, interface improvements, balancing adjustments, quality-of-life features, performance optimizations, and general polish.

Cinema Theater Tycoon’s demo puts players at the beginning of their journey as a cinema manager in 1906. Players can build and customize their first movie theater, create and equip screening rooms, hire employees, discover and program films, and more. The demo allows players to work all the way to the year 1914. The full game will feature later eras and more advanced technologies.

You can check out the new demo for the game right here on Steam. The full game is planned to release very soon on November 9.
