The transition will bring the game’s global audience under NC’s own online publishing services, with developer FirstSpark Games working alongside NC on the technical and operational preparations. Players on Steam, Xbox, and PlayStation will not need to start over or transfer their progress, and character information, gameplay progress, inventory items, Lucent, and other assets will also be preserved.

Existing players will also be able to continue using their current accounts by accepting the new Terms of Service, with no additional action required. One of the biggest changes will be the creation of a unified global environment.

Players on Steam, Xbox, PlayStation, and NC’s PURPLE platform will be able to play together through a single online service.

“Taking a more direct role in global publishing makes so much sense for us,” said FirstSpark Games CEO Moonyoung Choi.

Throne and Liberty launched globally on October 1, 2024, via Amazon Game Studios. The free-to-play MMORPG includes large-scale PvP battles, guild warfare, dungeons, Challenge Raids, Dimensional Trials, and player transformation into different creatures.

The MMORPG features a seamless open world, creative combat through dual weapon combinations, extensive guild communities, and massive siege warfare. Driven by fresh ideas and passionate innovation, we strive to blend cutting-edge technology with compelling storytelling to deliver thrilling and unforgettable experiences to players worldwide.

Throne and Liberty is a free-to-play MMORPG available on PC (via Steam and nc.com), PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. While the base game costs $0 to download and play, it includes optional in-game microtransactions and premium currency packs (Lucent) ranging from $9.99 to $99.99, alongside optional celebration packs.
