Frontier Developments has announced the Planet Coaster 2: Silver Screen Pack, set to launch on August 19, 2026, for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S, introducing an Art Deco, golden-age-of-cinema theme to the game.
Planet Coaster 2: Silver Screen Pack allows Park Managers to create sprawling movie sets, cinematic backdrops, and towering skyscrapers featuring art-deco gold accents and sleek marble finishes. Players can build their own movie-inspired metropolis with more than 650 scenery pieces, over 100 animatronics, a variety of vehicles, and seven new rides.
New attractions include the Vector New Gen Flying Coaster, Movement Construction slot car racers, Fourth Wall 360-degree tilting-stage ride, Cinema, Ground Control, Big Screen Tour, and Re-Motion. Re-Motion is a customizable simulator-style tracked ride with a robotic arm that moves seats in every direction.

The pack features 30 movie-themed ambient sounds and over 80 sound effects to help parks capture a Hollywood backlot atmosphere, and a new entertainer, Cornell Butterworth, will also appear in the game.
The Silver Screen Pack will launch alongside Free Update 11, which introduces several highly requested features, including queue wait signs, five new concession counters, and on-ride photography for flumes and tracked rides. The update will also include additional improvements and bug fixes.
Planet Coaster 2: Silver Screen will release on August 19, 2026, for $14.99, and the base game is required and is available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S for $49.99.
