UGC90 has announced that its upcoming game, Gacha Capsule Shop Simulator – Akihabara, will be released in Early Access on June 8, 2026.
Gacha Capsule Shop Simulator – Akihabara puts players in the shoes of an anime capsule store owner. Players can manage their shop full of gachapon machines with everything you’d expect in a management simulation game, from hiring staff and checking customers out to dealing with inventory and decorating the store.
However, Gacha Capsule Shop Simulator – Akihabara has much more ready for players. The virtual Akihabara is thriving with NPCs that players can run into, including cosplayers, maid shop employees, tourists, and anime fans. There are billboards, JDM cars, and even the infamous “truck-kun” (a reference to the popular trope in anime where a character dies by getting hit by a truck and wakes up in a fantasy world).
Around the shop, players will find adorable stray cats. By feeding and petting them, the cats will come to the shop as Maneki-Neko figures that offer various boosts, including luck and rarity boosts.
During the day, players will run their shops and grow their own collection from the 24 capsule pack licenses and thousands of figurines. This also includes the therapeutic practice of using bats on the machines when they break down.
However, at night, players can visit the underground Robot Fight Club. There, they can bet on robots and make money while encountering colorful characters, including members of the yakuza, K-pop stars, sumo wrestlers, and influencers.
