Today, GIANTS Software officially rolled out Farming Simulator 25 update 1.21, which addresses gameplay bugs, improves mod support, and refreshes nearly every major DLC pack.
As of Farming Simulator 25 Update 1.21, Xbox users can expect more reliable downloads for large mods, and background mod downloads will no longer disrupt play. GIANTS Software has resolved header trailer collision issues that caused equipment to move unexpectedly, fixed vegetable pallets to support onions, and addressed a bug where wheels could clip through terrain or get stuck on curbs at low speeds.
The update also improves default key bindings for the Moza Farming Control System and adds several quality-of-life features for Mod creators. The SDK now features XML documentation files, and updates to XML schemas, motion path loading, and selling station warnings make the modding process more reliable.
Several DLC packs have also been updated in Farming Simulator 25 update 1.21. The Mercedes-Benz Trucks Pack addresses looping brake audio, improves AI helper unloading for hooklift containers and the Unimog U 1800–2400, and corrects license plate placement on the Mercedes-Benz Arocs. The Emergency Pack fixes a controller-related UI scrolling issue.
The Highlands Fishing Pack receives visual and audio updates, with improved gear-shift sounds and a corrected seat suspension camera for the New Holland T8000 Series. The MacDon Pack now offers better harvesting on uneven terrain, while the Plains and Prairies Pack improves the steering angle of the Versatile DeltaTrack and adds visual enhancements.
The Sky Agriculture Pack now features foliage interaction for the Sky HR 300 (3M), fixes work area effects on the Sky P100, and brings further visual improvements. The Vredo Pack adds a new bumper decal for the Vredo Profi XL 18 and increases decal draw distance on the VT4556.
Precision Farming gets several gameplay improvements. Tramlines reset automatically when farmland is purchased, yield calculations now factor in seed rates, and sprayers apply products more accurately in specific situations. Manual soil sampling now impacts environmental scores correctly, and sprayer nozzle audio issues have been removed.
Farming Simulator 25 update 1.21 is rolling out gradually on all platforms. Some players may not see the update immediately, and cross-platform multiplayer could be temporarily affected during the rollout. Players may also experience stuttering on first launch after updating, especially if using mods or custom graphics settings, as shaders are recompiled.
The game is available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S, with more roadmap content set to release later this year. Nintendo Switch 2 players will need to wait for the Farming Simulator: Signature Edition, which is coming out in early December.
