Today Euro Truck Simulator 2 developer SCS Software announced that it will exhibit its simulation content at IAA Transportation 2024 in Hannover, Germany.
If you’re not familiar with the event, which will be hosted between September 17 and September 22, it’s one of the leading professional exhibition for logistics, commercial vehicles, and the transport sector.
While the developer won’t have its own booth, it will exhibit at the booths of several of its brand partners.
According to the announcement, SCS will be present at Scania’s booth with a 4D motion simulator, where attendees will be able to drive the Scania S BEV and more. Another simulator will be at JOST to demonstrate the company’s KKS technology.
A third simulator will be at Kögel’s booth to show off the Kögel Trailer Pack DLC, while a fourth will be at Wielton’s booth.
Giveaways featuring Euro Truck Simulator 2 and its DLC will be hosted at Schmitz Cargobull and Krone Trailer’s booth, while something “cool” is planned at the Kässbohrer booth.
On top of that, the developer promises to join in the celebrations with “exclusive content and new releases” during the timeframe of the event, encouraging fans to stay tuned on their social media channels.
This is certainly another signal of the close relationship and synergy between simulation and the real-world professional environment.
Euro Truck Simulator is currently available for PC. It’s one of the few games on Steam that has seen a pretty consistent climb in its peak daily playerbase since its launch in 2012.
