Disney Dreamlight Valley dropped two content updates today: Dapper Delights and Treasures of Time.
Treasures of Time was teased last week, concluding the A Rift in Time expansion pass. The third act of the expansion lets players crack the code to Jafar’s Palace, where puzzles await. At the end, Jafar will join the Valley as a companion. He’ll also get a figurine in Scramblecoin, bringing chaos to the board.
Treasures of Time is only available to expansion pass holders, while Dapper Delights is a free content update for everyone.
Dapper Delights brings Tiana into the fray after players find the secret of a mysterious cookbook. Tiana will come alongside the restaurant, Tiana’s Palace, where players can buy recipes and meals.
The new companion also ushers in a new era of fashion: the roaring twenties. New quests from Tiana reward players with Lily pad Tokens, which players can exchange for flapper-inspired clothes and nouveau furniture items. Additionally, Donald Duck can get a new look with the tokens.
That’s not all – World Princess Week is from August 25 to August 31, and a new Premium Shop Bundle is coming to celebrate. There will be royal fashions and hairstyles to celebrate, including Ariel’s signature pink dress. A new House Dream Style and furniture that follows The Little Mermaid theme will also be available.
Besides new content, developers focused on many bug fixes and quality-of-life improvements. One of the most anticipated QoL changes is cross-play for PlayStation (Disney Dreamlight Valley already supports cross-play across other systems). Outfit presets are also part of the game now, letting players create four different looks to easily switch between. Players can also add certain furniture items and styles to their favorites, and a search bar was added as well.
The game received plenty of bug fixes and even reworked Belle’s character model.
