The new Rivens Tide map is set on the coast, and the deserted area has an abandoned resort and dockyard to explore.

With the coastal area comes a new map condition called Beachcombing. Players can obtain the Dockmaster’s Detector, which can then be used over sand to see if treasure is buried beneath it.

Of course, digging can make players vulnerable, especially when the beach is a wide-open area. Players will need to be careful, especially considering there’s a new enemy, the Arc Turbine.

The Arc Turbine floats around the Rust Belt until players get too close. It has strong defenses, and fighting it will test players’ patience and skills.

Two new items are also part of the Arc Raiders Riven Tides Update. The Crash Mat and Powered Descender are both tools that players can use to jump down (or fall without taking damage).

A new event, Last Resort, has also started with the new update. It will run until May 25, and players will be able to earn merits through playing. Players can also get more Merits by finding Ship Models around the Rust Belt.

These Merits can be traded in for rewards, including a Junior Outfit, Hydrologist backpack, Hose attachment, Brass Faucet charm, emotes, and 250 Raider Tokens.

A new Raider Project puts players in charge of building Bird Cages. These work as a type of security system that can sense atmospheric changes and tremors, and they can be deployed on buoys on Riven Tides.

By going through the five stages of the new project, players can earn the Docmaster’s Detector for Beachcombing, Gel Patches, a Bird House backpack attachment, an emote, and 250 Raider Tokens.

Last but certainly not least are the two new cosmetic sets, the Solare set and the Rachetta Set.

Of course, there were bug fixes, balance changes, and other standard patch updates. Players can find the entire patch notes here to check it all out.
