Today, EA Sports F1 25 released a brand new deep dive detailing what fans can expect from its upcoming 2026 Season Pack.
The 2026 Season Pack marks a historic shift for the franchise, replacing a standalone 2026 game with a massive paid DLC expansion that brings the real-life competition of Formula 1 to life with up-to-date improvements. These include regulation changes, new engine systems, an expanded grid, and a brand-new track directly into the F1 25 base game.
The 2026 regulations for EA Sports F1 25 will focus heavily on nimbler cars and advanced hybrid energy management, with several important changes compared to the previous model. Wheelbases are reduced from 3600 mm to 3400 mm, and tire widths are narrower, making the cars much more responsive on both a racing wheel and a gamepad.
Traditional DRS will also be replaced by active aero, which dynamically adjusts the front and rear wing angles around the circuit to balance cornering grip and straight-line speed. One of the biggest changes is a new engine system that unlocks a concentrated electrical boost of almost 500 horsepower, which activates when a driver is within one second of the car ahead at the detection points.
Energy management will be much more efficient, as battery recharging occurs not just during braking, but also during lift and partial throttle, meaning energy deployment is key to maintaining pace and making strategic overtakes. Driver assist gameplay toggles are being added to automate active aero and overtake mode, allowing drivers to focus purely on steering if preferred.
EA Sports F1 25 2026 Season Pack expands the grid to 11 teams and 22 drivers, completely shuffling the driver market with new factory entries, like Audi and Cadillac, and new rookies like Valtteri Bottas, Sergio Pérez, and Arvid Lindblad. Players can jump into these changes through Driver Career and My Team, with the former letting you create a custom squad that serves as the 12th team on the grid, expanding the competitive field.

The expansion introduces The Madring, the heavily anticipated street circuit, built strictly from official circuit blueprint data using five lidar-scanned configurations, that will host the new Spanish Grand Prix in Madrid. It should be noted that, due to licensing agreements for the 2026 calendar, 2025-spec cars cannot be driven on this circuit.
EA Sports F1 25 2026 Season Pack officially launches on June 2, 2026, for $24.99, and is fully integrated into Driver Career, My Team, Grand Prix, Time Trial, Split-Screen, and Unranked Multiplayer.
