Today, Bandai Namco Entertainment America unveiled new gameplay details for Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3, which is set to arrive in 2027 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and PC via Steam,
Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3’s reveal makes this the first game in the franchise in over a decade. It is set in the all-new Age 1000 timeline and introduces players to a fresh Dragon Ball world created by Akira Toriyama.
The latest trailer showcases West City, a hub world where players can explore new stories, attend life at West City University, and interact with both iconic and original characters. You can see it for yourself below:

Players create their own protagonist and embark on adventures alongside franchise favorites while meeting newcomers such as Brett, Lilica, ROM, and Tap. Other well-known characters can also be seen in the reveal, including Bulma and Gamma 1, who recruits players into the Great Saiya Squad.
Combat expands on the series’ signature fast-paced action with new mechanics, like the Soul Assist system. This enables team-up attacks with legendary Dragon Ball heroes, while Soul Switch lets players temporarily channel the powers of characters such as Krillin, Piccolo, Vegeta, Future Trunks, and Tien, unlocking unique abilities and combat advantages.
