Mobile International Airport for Microsoft Flight Simulator Gets New Screenshots and Dev Update

Drzewiecki Design released new screenshots and a development update of Mobile International Airport (KBFM) in Alabama, United States.

As usual, we get a development update explaining the progress made this week.

“Recent work focused on the terminal interior and equipment, with additional progress on the surrounding terminal area, including new sidewalks, missing fencing, pylons/signage elements, and further landside detail.

Several new scenery assets have also been completed, including two small FedEx buildings, Factory Gate No. 1, and three highway viaducts. Additional corrections were applied to previously completed structures as the airport environment continues to be refined.

Across the ground layout, work continued on concrete and asphalt section divisions, drainage elements, pavement edges, and detailed GND adjustments. Static aircraft and ground-handling elements were also placed, adding another layer of operational detail around the airport.”

Teterboro Airport Coming for X-Plane 12

Dreamflight Studios announced that its Teterboro Airport is coming for X-Plane 12.

According to the developer, it’ll feature “the highly detailed airport, extensive custom modeling, realistic ground work, and all the details that made the MSFS version special.”

Long Beach Airport Released for MSFS 2020

Shore Pilot Sim released Long Beach Airport (KLGB) for MSFS 2020.

It’s available on Simmarket for $13.98, including the following features.

  • Most up-to-date layout: old globemaster manufacturing hangars now reflecting the new Relativity lay-out, color, and architexture.
  • Animated vehicles across the apron and landside: airport patrol, police and utility trucks animated on their real-life like routes
  • Custom runway markings and taxiway signs and wigwags: all three runways custom-created with realistic markings, together with custom modelled and textured taxiway signs and wigwags at runway entries.
  • 3D-modelling with PBR textures: true-to-life modelling of all buildings in the main four layout sections with materials having PBR textures with detail, wear, and reflections.
  • Custom modeled and textured ground equipment: custom Southwest Airlines baggage cart, tractors and ramps.
  • The four underpasses modelled and textured: underpasses beneath RWY30 modelled and texure for a more immersive take-off and landing experience.
  • Dynamic lighting: real-life lighting positions all across aprons, parking lots, streets, and buildings over the airports layout and surroundings.
