Entropy.Aero has released a free trial of Combat Pilot: Carrier Qualification, its upcoming combat flight simulator set during WWII.
The free trial for Combat Pilot: Carrier Qualification will last one week, from today, February 23, to March 2. The trial is the latest Alpha version of the game, and anyone on Steam can take part. This is the same version of the game that the Ace Tier subscribers on Patreon have access to.
The free trial includes the following:
- Quick Missions
- US F4F-4 Fighter and Japanese A6M2 Model 21 “Zero” Fighter
- USS Enterprise and UJN Akagi aircraft carriers
- Midway Atoll (Sand and Eastern Island)
Combat Pilot: Carrier Qualification features realistic flight physics and systems modeling, as well as carrier take-offs and landings. It’s the first of many realistic combat flight simulators that Entropy.Aero plans to develop.
To help players ease into the simulator, Entropy.Aero released a setup guide that goes into all of the controls, how to bind them, how to create missions, and more. Players can watch it below:
Combat Pilot: Carrier Qualification is set to release on PC this year. The simulator will support VR, PlayStation/Xbox controllers (with partial support), HOTAS joysticks, eye-tracking devices, and ForceFeedback devices.
