SCS Software announced the release date of the Ford DLC for American Truck Simulator, which will open the gates to the new Road Trip feature.
The Ford Car Pack, which will be available on Steam, is expected to launch in just a few days, on September 30.
It will include four iconic Ford cars suitable for different kinds of driving: the Ford Crown Victoria, the Ford F-150, the Ford Mustang Fastback, and the Ford Bronco Badlands
It’ll allow players to drive cars and explore a variety of landmarks and points of interest, while also taking on smaller jobs like package delivery or the delivery of the cars themselves.
Of course, the cars can be purchased and customized in games pretty much like the trucks.

American Truck Simulator is available for PC, and it’s the sister game to Euro Truck Simulator 2. PS5 and Xbox Series X|S versions are also coming. Version 1.61 for PC has recently been made available.
South Dakota is the next DLC and will release on September 24. We already saw its Truck Stops, countryside, towns, cities, more Truck Stops, the road network, more settlements, even more towns, Hot Springs, Badlands National Park, the Industry, Rapid City, Sioux Falls, the Black Hills, Mount Rushmore, Pierre, and plenty of gameplay.
The game will soon cross the borders of the United States and go to Canada with the British Columbia DLC, of which we also saw some screenshots, some of the towns, the tunnels, and Whistler.
Then American Truck Simulator will return to the US with Indiana and North Dakota, on top of a Nevada rework.
