SCS Software revealed the first feature that will be included in the next update for Euro Truck Simulator 2 and American Truck Simulator.
According to the official post, specifically, we get to see the job details widget, which shows relevant details about your current job. That includes the cargo type and weight, delivery location, job income (colour-highlighted), and the remaining time to complete the job.
It’s worth mentioning that the remaining time for the job is currently displayed on the GPS, but that won’t be the case anymore with 1.60. The info will be displayed exclusively on the job details widget.
On the other hand, the next Rest Stop will appear only on the GPS.
Below you can see the feature in Euro Truck Simulator 2, above, and in American Truck Simulator, below.

If you’re unfamiliar with Euro Truck Simulator 2, it’s a truck-driving simulator available for PC, but PS5 and Xbox versions have been recently announced. Update 1.59 has recently been released for PC.
The Iceland DLC was revealed a few months ago, and you can enjoy additional screenshots, in addition to its churches, the Ring Road, the coastlines, and Keflavík.
Further national DLCs announced focus on Ireland (of which we just saw a few screenshots) and on Turkey.
The development team is also hard at work updating relevant areas of the map, and the next rework focuses on the UK, including the Stonehenge area.
Last, but not least, there’s the Coaches DLC, and we recently saw its bus stations, the Scania Touring, passenger satisfaction, the MAN Lion’s Coach, and the Volvo 9700 Double Decker.
American Truck Simulator is available for PC, and it’s the sister game to Euro Truck Simulator 2. PS5 and Xbox Series X|S versions are also coming. American Truck Simulator Version 1.59 for PC has just been launched.
South Dakota is likely the next DLC, and we already saw its Truck Stops, countryside, towns, cities, more Truck Stops, the road network, more settlements, even more towns, and Hot Springs.
The game will soon cross the borders of the United States and go to Canada with the British Columbia DLC.
Another big project is the Road Trip feature, spearheaded by the Ford Car Pack (of which we also saw the Ford Crown Victoria, the Ford F-150, the Ford Mustang Fastback, and the Ford Bronco Badlands) and the Ram & Dodge Car Pack with the Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat Widebody, which will expand the simulator’s experience from trucks to cars and pickup trucks, including pure exploration and the delivery of smaller packages.
