The Autumn Update brings several improvements to the game, along with an in-game mod manager. This lets players browse and apply mods from the game itself. Considering this is the last major update for Transport Fever 2, mod support is important for the community. Plus, it’s cross-platform, another win for the community.

Players will be able to easily sort through mods with the following categories: Status (mods either uploaded or added to each player’s game), Scenario, Map/Savegame, Vehicle, Station, Track/Street, Depot, Building, Asset, and Misc.

For console players, in-game mod support is a game changer. Lots of new player-created content will be available to them that PC players have had access to.

Many of the changes are quality-of-life changes to help the game continue to thrive now that it’s done with updates. These changes include automatic snapping when building roads and between road depots and harbors, the ability to replace all tunnels and bridges with one button, and three-way rail switches.

Additionally, traffic simulation and construction tooltips and guidelines have been improved. Players can find a full list of patch notes here, which details more of the specific fixes that came with the Autumn Update.

To celebrate the last major update, Transport Fever 2 released an Autumn Update 2 video. Excited players can view it below.
