Propair Flight is about to release its Piper Cheyenne III bundled with the SkyPass virtual type rating feature for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 and MSFS 2020.
This is a rather innovative offering, considering that you get an aircraft and a detailed curriculum to learn to fly it consistently and effectively in a way that echoes a real-life type-rating while adapting it to a virtual environment.
Normally, Microsoft Flight Simulator developers give you the aircraft and perhaps a manual, but then you’re left to your own devices. On the other hand, SkyPass won’t just teach you, but also evaluate your performance and help you correct your mistakes.
Considering the uniqueness of the project, we sat down with Propair Flight General Manager Péter Késmárki, and we asked him to provide more details on how it all works and on the future of the project.
Incidentally, Késmárki even teases the next aircraft that Propair Flight will release (and that will include Skypass as well), and it’s the Embraer EMB 120 Brasilia, which is quite an exciting prospect for those who love regional turboprop airliners.
The Cheyenne III and SkyPass bundle will be available soon on Orbx Direct for MSFS 2024 and MSFS 2020.
