Today, HoYoverse mapped out the next update for their hit free-to-play RPG Zenless Zone Zero. Version 1.2 is set to be released on update on September 25, 2024, and will focus on the desolate suburbs known as the Outer Ring, where you’ll join a fierce motorcycle ride with Caesar and Burnice from the Sons of Calydon.
Proxies will team up with Caesar (S-Rank Physical Defense Agent) and Burnice (S-Rank Fire Anomaly Agent) in an epic showdown with their rival, The Vanquishers. Players can explore New Eridu as both characters in the new version, as they’ll be added to the list of playable Agents.
A brand-new mini-game called Bizarre Brigade will also be introduced at Goldfinger, alongside various events like the Overlord’s Feast. The mini-game is a time-limited survival shooter that works like a roguelike, letting players unlock different characters to compete in challenges while also leveling up Agents and obtaining unique rewards.
There are plenty of quality-of-life improvements and updates in Zenless Zone Zero 1.2 as well, like optimizations to the H.D.D board, team presets, time, and stamina system.
Since 2020, developer MiHoYo has found considerable success in the action-RPG genre with titles like Genshin Impact and Honkai: Star Rail. Zenless Zone Zero is the latest game developed by the company, releasing earlier this summer.
Zenless Zone Zero allows players to assume the role of a Proxy, either Wise or Belle, which is someone who helps others explore the alternate dimensions known as Hollows. As the game goes on, you recruit new members, known as Agents, to your party, which you are then able to take over and control to continue the fight against the mighty Ethereal.
