The Live Now tab that was introduced in the last patch is now available to all users. Up until now, it was released in waves to players to slowly roll out the feature. If you’re just now receiving it, it replaces the Launchpad tab and shows players the events in-game and information about what Friends and Groups are doing.

Speaking of Groups, there are several new features that involve them. First, for players who have joined fewer than 15 Groups, a new Group Progress Bar will appear on the Groups page.

This is meant to encourage users to join more Groups. There aren’t any rewards associated with the new progress bar, but it does have a little “fanfare” once it’s done, as VRChat explains it.

Another new Groups feature is the auto invites. Once a user has been around a Group for a while, the Group may send out an auto invite. This only applies to Groups that are open to the public with open invitations enabled.

This can also trigger by making a friend in a Group that meets those same criteria. Users can turn automatic invites off, too.

Users and Groups will need to be part of the test cohort to send/receive automatic invites for right now.

VRC+ subscribers are also getting an increase to their world favorites. There are now four new rows for world favorites, doubling the amount from 400 to 800. Additionally, there are a few quality-of-life changes for organizing world favorites, too.

As always, players can watch the VRChat Version 2026.1.1 patch notes video below, or read through the patch notes here for more information on bugs and other, smaller changes:
