SCS Software showcased one of the upcoming nation DLCs for Euro Truck Simulator 2: Iceland.
Specifically, we get to see about 25 minutes of trucking gameplay shared by the developers.
We start in Seyðisfjörður, and we drive all the way to the famous Goðafoss Waterfall in the video, providing a good look at the unique landscapes and villages of Iceland.
You can check out the video below and see if it gets you excited about driving across Iceland. It’s worth mentioning that we don’t yet know when the DLC will be released.
If you’re unfamiliar with Euro Truck Simulator 2, it’s a truck-driving simulator available for PC, but PS5 and Xbox versions have recently been announced.
The Iceland DLC was revealed a few months ago, and you can enjoy additional screenshots, in addition to its churches, the Ring Road, the coastlines, Keflavík, the fjords, Akureyri, and the bridges.
Further national DLCs announced focus on Ireland (of which we also saw a few screenshots, an iconic road, and Cavan) and on Turkey.
The development team is also hard at work updating relevant areas of the map, and the next rework focuses on the UK, including the Stonehenge area, Inverness, and Bristol.
Last, but not least, there’s the Coaches DLC, and we recently saw its bus stations, the Scania Touring, passenger satisfaction, the MAN Lion’s Coach, the Volvo 9700 Double Decker, the first gameplay, the new vehicle features, how to purchase coaches and take on jobs, how to switch modes, tourist jobs, and gameplay of the Scania Touring.
