Today, developer Skyhook Games announced that Train Sim World 6 Cargo Line Volume 6: Gas is officially launching on July 14, 2026.
For the first time, the Cargo Line series heads to mainland Europe with Train Sim World 6 Cargo Line Volume 6: Gas. The expansion introduces Zags 110m³ gas tanker wagons to the Pfälzische Ludwigsbahn: Mannheim-Kaiserslautern route, adding hazardous freight operations and broadening the range of German cargo available in the game.
Players will transport loaded and empty gas tankers across one of Germany’s busiest regional rail corridors using the DB BR 185 locomotive. The expansion includes six new scenarios, ranging from shunting operations to long-distance freight hauls, across varying weather conditions.

Train Sim World 6 Cargo Line Volume 6: Gas also adds 18 timetable services featuring the new wagons, with compatible locomotive substitutions supported. The Zags tanker is available in both clean and weathered VTG liveries.
The new rolling stock works with Free Roam, Formation Designer, Scenario Planner, and Livery Designer, letting players create custom freight runs with locomotives from their current collections.
To access all these new features and improvements, players will need the Train Sim World 6: Pfälzische Ludwigsbahn: Mannheim-Kaiserslautern route, which is available for purchase as a seperate add-on. This extra German content also adds more AI traffic and locomotive layers for a more realistic experience.
Dovetail Games has confirmed that two more Cargo Line expansions are in development, with further details to come. Train Sim World 6 Cargo Line Volume 6: Gas launches July 14 for PlayStation, Xbox and PC for $12.99.
