Today, Sega and Creative Assembly announced the release date of the largest DLC ever for Total War: Warhammer 3, titled Lords of the End Times.
The DLC will launch on September 24, 2026, for PC, on Steam and the Windows Store.
As the title suggests, the expansion lets you play the End Times, the last storyline of classic Warhammer that Games Workshop used to kill the beloved IP and replace it with Age of Sh… ahem, Age of Sigmar.
Yet, this time we’re in control, so we’ll be able to basically kick the official outcome in the trash bin where it belongs and stop the End Times, basically erasing, at least on our PCs, Games Workshop’s greatest sin.
Of course, this does not cancel what happened to the tabletop, which remains a travesty and a grave insult to every veteran fan of the franchise, but it’s much better than nothing.

The DLC costs $30.56, but you can purchase each legendary lord separately if you so wish. To sweeten the deal, if you get the DLC, you’ll get access to the Immortal Empires campaign without actually needing to buy any of the Total War: Warhammer games.

- Chaos Invasion, Vermintide & Nagash Rises End Game Scenarios
- Updated Victory Conditions for all Legendary Lords & more.
Incidentally, the developers tease that despite the name, this isn’t the last content the game gets, if anyone was wondering.
