MultiVersus Will Shut Down But Will Be Playable Offline

Warner Bros. Games announced that Season 5 will be the last for Multiversus. All online features will shut down when the season concludes on May 30.

Logging in at any time during the season will create a save file on your local disk, allowing you to continue playing offline with all the content you purchased or earned.

This was perhaps inevitable, as Warner Bros. had already announced that MultiVersus disappointed in terms of sales, failing to meet the company’s expectations.

Macross Shooting Insight Shows Gameplay Before Western Release

Red Art Games released a trailer showing localized gameplay of the upcoming shoot ’em up Macross: Shooting Insight, which was released in Japan a while ago by Bushiroad.

The game will be coming on February 7 for PC, PS4, PS5, and Nintendo Switch.

Unfortunately, we already know that the Western release will lack all the content and characters from Macross: Do You Remember Love? While the developers have not explicitly commented (to our knowledge), this is likely due to Harmony Gold getting in the way, just to remind us once again that they are scum and they always have been.

Norland Gets Another Beta Patch

The developer of Norland at Long Jaunt announced a new beta patch (#32) adding the puppet mechanic. If a lord’s relationship with another exceeds 90, they will turn them into their puppet, becoming the puppet’s idol.

Puppets will willingly give all their savings to their idol, defend them in a fight, and obey any command, including murder, kidnappings, seduction, organizing robberies, and more. They can also be forced to start an uprising to take power in their city.

Of course, this can also be used by neighbors and the bishop against the player’s own lords.

  • Fixed lots of annoying bugs in the beta – messengers can now be sent on missions again!
  • Fixed issues with walls and 3D terrain.
  • Fixed starting maps.
  • A character should no longer break their weapon if they surrender during a fistfight.
