Nagoshi Studio Will Move from Research and Development to Production This Year

Netease’s Nagoshi Studio helmed by former Yakuza/Like a Dragon boss Toshihiro Nagoshi published a New Year message penned by Nagoshi-san himself.

The message is interesting as it mentions that the studio will finally move from the research and development phase of the creation of its first game to production. You can read it in its entirety below.

As we welcome the third New Year since the establishment of Nagoshi Studio, I am deeply grateful for the journey we’ve had so far.
Last year, we were fortunate to welcome in many experienced new team members. Along with new partnerships with companies and individuals, we’ve been able to strengthen our team to achieve the creative vision we aspire to.

This year, we will step into a new phase, transitioning from the groundwork of research and development to the production of various assets.

The entertainment industry and its surrounding technologies are constantly evolving. We remain committed to adapting flexibly to these changes while pouring our unwavering passion into game development.

Lastly, we sincerely wish all players good health and an amazing 2025 filled with exciting gaming experiences.

The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Fan Remake Skyblivion Confirmed for 2025 With Development Update

The developers of Skyblivion, the fan remake in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim’s engine of the classic The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, published an extensive video showing the progress of the project in great detail.

Perhaps the most exciting part of the video is the confirmation of a 2025 release date (for the base game. DLC might come afterward).

That being said, the team of volunteers still needs further help to achieve that goal, so modders are invited to join and help out.

New Girls’ Frontline Game Project NET Shows Co-Op Gameplay

Hecate Team and Sunborn Network released a new gameplay video of the upcoming free-to-play third-person shooter Project NET, based on the Girls’ Frontline franchise.

This time around, we get to see co-op gameplay for the game, which will come to PC, iOS, and Android.

We’ll likely see a lot more between January 9 and January 16, when a playtest session will be hosted in Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, and the Philippines. The rest of the world will be involved “soon.”
