The developer showcased the current state of the alpha, which is supposed to release to the public at some point relatively soon.

We get to see Titanic as it’s being built alongside its sister ship Olympic, at the massive shipyard in Belfast. We get a guided tour of the facilities surrounding the building site, and of the skeleton of the massive ship as well.

It’s rather impressive, and you can watch it for yourself below.

If you’re unfamiliar with Titanic: Honor and Glory, it’s a project by Vintage Digital Revival for PC.

Development started all the way back in 2012, and it has been going on since.

Initially, it was supposed to be a narrative experience set on the Titanic, featuring exploration, drama, and mystery elements while retaining educational features.

A few years ago, the project was repurposed into a virtual museum and split between Project 401, focused on the exploration of Titanic itself, and Titanic: Honor and Glory, which provides an explorable experience of the shipyard as the Titanic is being built, which is what we saw today.

Several demos have been released over the past several years, including a partially explorable version of the ship for Project 401, but the alpha of Titanic: Honor and Glory is expected to be a major milestone for the project.
