GPTrack50 has revealed the release date for Stupid Never Dies, its upcoming pop-punk zombie action RPG, along with information about DLC, a deluxe edition, publishing news, and more.
Stupid Never Dies will be released on October 21, 2026, meaning that players will be able to hop into the zombie-filled action just in time for Halloween. At the same time, the developers announced that it’s entering a co-publishing deal with Sega, which will be responsible for the game’s worldwide publishing and distribution.
President of GPTrack50, Hiroyuki Kobayashi, shared a comment on the co-publishing agreement:
“We are delighted and deeply grateful to SEGA for their publishing partnership and support as we bring the first of many games from GPTRACK50 to players. Stupid Never Dies is an ambitious action game that introduces a number of original gameplay systems, and working with a publisher as experienced as SEGA has been invaluable. Together, our team remains committed to delivering a game that we believe players around the world will enjoy. We look forward to welcoming everyone into the world of Stupid Never Dies on October 21.”
A new trailer for Stupid Never Dies was released alongside the news, showing off one of the characters players will meet: Phoenix Zaza Hotfeathers, a mysterious zombie. Fans can check it out below:
The game will be available for $49.99 on PC and PlayStation 5. A deluxe edition of the game, Stupid Never Dies: Glorious Idiot Edition, will also be available for $59.99, which will include the game and its first DLC, TickTock Teddies: Nonsense Overload Pack.
The TickTock Teddies: Nonsense Overload Pack for Stupid Never Dies includes five Teddies:
- DLC Original TickTock Teddy 1: Big Head – Big Head Effect, which gives Davy a comically oversized bobblehead, and a composition version of the combat music will play
- DLC Original TickTock Teddy 2: Chirp Chirp – Footstep Sound Effect when Davy is in Zombie Style and new home music track remix
- DLC Original TickTock Teddy 3: Festival – Hit Sound Effect when Davy Bursts and new background music track remix during Davy’s Burst
- DLC Original TickTock Teddy 4: Romantic – New Effects when Davy Bursts and Main Theme available during Davy’s Burst
- DLC Original TickTock Teddy 5: Splash – New Level-up Effects and new music track remix when Davy levels up
