Frontier Developments has revealed another animal in the Planet Zoo 2 lineup: the Indo-Pacific Leopard Shark.
The Indo-Pacific Leopard Shark, also known as the Zebra Shark, is one of the most recognizable sharks out there. Once grown, these beautiful sharks have long, sleek bodies with spots like leopards. However, when they’re younger, they have stripes, which makes for the two almost-contradicting names.
These sharks like to explore, so having large, open-water aquariums with plenty of enrichment activities around is perfect for them. They also enjoy resting on sand, though they tend to be most active at night.
Indo-Pacific Leopard Sharks are very gentle, which makes them a great aquarium option because they can peacefully stay with other aquatic species.

Planet Zoo 2 is set to release on October 13, 2026, on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. Frontier Developments has shown off quite a bit of animal species that will be included in the game, both aquatic and otherwise, which players can check out here in the Zoopedia.
