spawnd is a web gaming platform that allows premium game demos to be played, shared, and embedded anywhere on the web, just like a YouTube video, and it does so with no subscriptions or downloads. This means that store pages, media articles, influencer channels, and social posts can embed demos directly into their pages to grant an instant try-before-you-buy experience.

On the development end, spawnd has plenty of helpful backend features, including one-click trials, direct CTA to Steam pages, and a data-driven analytics board, optimizing marketing, design, and engagement elements to their highest potential. When speaking of the partnership, Nuuvem CEO and Co-Founder Fernando Campos said the following:

“Square Enix’s investment is a powerful validation of what we’re building with spawnd,“ said Campos. “This partnership helps us give publishers and studios a frictionless way to connect their games with the right audiences everywhere—by turning discovery into instant gameplay.”

spawned had its official soft launch today, showcasing its first 12 titles available on the platform, including exclusive titles like The Posthumous Investigation, CyberWar, Ginsha, Ironhive, Valfaris, Figment, and Cris Tales. Some better-known titles are also coming to the platform, such as Cross-Code, SUPERHOT, Townscaper, Monster Sanctuary, and Doom 3.

By the end of the year, it is expected that the platform will have over 100 new games, many of which will come from pre-existing partnerships with hundreds of major publishers and studios, just like Square Enix.
