Today, Focus Entertainment and Saber Interactive shared a lot of important information about their upcoming heavy machinery simulation title, Roadcraft, including a release date of May 20, 2025.
The news came via an overview gameplay trailer detailing what fans can expect from Saber Interactive’s latest take on the off-road and construction sim genre. In Roadcraft, players will take the shoes of a front-line rebuilder tasked with helping reshape areas that have been hit with disasters, including dealing with the aftermath of environmental phenomena like huge floods or relentless sandstorms.
To deal with the aftermath accordingly, players will use a large fleet of construction vehicles to clear debris, reactivate dormant factories, and rebuild crucial infrastructure like roads and bridges to revive the local industry. You can take a peek at what to expect gameplay-wise in the trailer below:
Roadcraft is currently available for pre-order and features two editions: Standard and Rebuild. The basic version includes the Aramatsu Bowhead 30T heavy dump truck, while the latter comes with the Rebuild Expansion, the Aramatsu Bowhead 30T, and the Invictus Type A scout vehicle.
A new DLC is also planned for 2025 as a part of the Rebuild Expansion. It will feature two new maps, each of which are filled with extra missions, activities and utility vehicles.
While they’ve assisted in the development of other titles, working alongside 343 Industries on the Halo franchise, developer Saber Interactive is best known for developing simulation vehicles and construction simulators like SnowRunner, MudRunner, and Teardown.
