Sony has announced that a PlayStation State of Play for June 2, 2026, promising over 60 minutes of content about upcoming games.
According to the announcement, the State of Play will include not only updates and announcements, but also gameplay reveals from major studios from around the world.
This includes a new look at the combat in Marvel’s Wolverine from Insomniac Games, along with other details for the upcoming action-adventure game that’s set to release on September 15, 2026.
There are also several games from the State of Play a few months ago that fans are waiting for more information on. Kena: Scars of Kosmora is set to release this year, so we may get an actual date on June 2. 4Loop from Bad Robot Games is also missing a release date, along with Control Resonant from Remedy Entertainment.
Of course, fans are also waiting on information about the God of War Trilogy Remake, which was announced with a short teaser back in February’s State of Play. More information may come for the Untitled John Wick Game that was revealed at the same State of Play.
PlayStation fans can tune into the State of Play on YouTube or Twitch on June 2, 2026, at 2 pm PT/5 pm ET/11 pm CEST. The program will be in English, and Japanese subtitles will be available.
