Marvel Rivals Version 20260116 kicks off Season 6, which is bringing its own balance changes that you can read about here. The patch notes go more in-depth about the events this patch, new skins, and more.

Some of the Season 6 content will, of course, be coming with this new version, such as the revamped Hero Proficiency system, Deadpool, the Photo Mode for Times Square, new MRC rewards, and new accessories.

Other changes include new controller settings that let players easily save configs and share them with other players.

The store is getting quite a few new skins and bundles, too:

  • Deadpool – Captain Pool Bundle
  • Venom – Marvel Cosmic Invasion Bundle
  • Spider-Man – Marvel Cosmic Invasion
  • Deadpool – Emoji Bundle
  • Invisible Woman Prism Parade Costume Chroma
  • Peni Parker – Snow SP//dr Bundle (available until January 23, 2026)
  • Star-Lord – Starcracker Bundle (available until January 23, 2026)
  • Daredevil – Not Daredevil Bundle (available until January 23, 2026)

Season 6 and Version 20260116 will see the start of a new battle pass, Museum Ticket. This will feature 10 new costumes, including Invisible Woman – Prism Parade, Venom – Space Corsair, and Mantis – Galactic Gladiator.

A new event, Whac-A-Jeff, will also kick off with the update. Players can earn the costume Jeff the Land Shark – 8-Bit Bash for free by playing. Additionally, the Gone Nutty for Gifts and Jeff’s Winter Splash Festival events have been extended until January 29, 2026.

As always, Marvel Rivals Version 20260116 will also have new ranked rewards, new map rotations (goodbye Quick Match Resource Rumble), new Twitch Drops, and new tournaments. For a detailed look at these changes and specific bug fixes, check out the full patch notes here.

Marvel Rivals Version 20260116 is set to release on January 16, 2026, at 9 am, on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. The servers will be down for two hours to complete the update.
