This time around, it is all about the long-hind-limbed and long-bodied birds, the Ornithomimus. Having roamed the lands during the Cretaceous period around 140 million years ago, they feature toothless beaks, measure 3 meters in length, and boast a name that quite literally means bird mimic.

You can check out the video below, which showcases this magnificent creature in full.

Jurassic World Evolution 3 was originally announced at Summer Game Fest, and will be the third installment of a popular series of management sims inspired by Universal’s Jurassic World series, which debuted with the original Jurassic World Evolution in 2018, followed by the sequel in 2021. The game is set to feature 80 species of dinosaurs and a new campaign, which will see the return of Jeff Goldblum voicing Dr. Ian Malcolm. So far, they’ve revealed a boatload of these new dinosaurs that will be arriving in the sequel, including the Psittacosaurus, Lokiceratops, Utharaptor, and baby Megaladon.

We’ve also seen videos showing gameplay aspects like a dive into the new breeding mechanics, the ability to host dinosaurs into families, and a look at terraforming. If you’re interested in the Jurassic World franchise, you should definitely take a look at the upcoming Jurassic World Archipelago for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, MSFS 2020, and X-Plane, on top of our interview about it.

Jurassic World Evolution 3 launches October 21, 2025, for PC (Steam), PS5, and Xbox Series X|S for a suggested retail price of $59.99 for the standard edition, and $74.99 for the Deluxe Edition.
