Krafton finally launched the Steam page of its upcoming life simulator inZOI, providing another look at what fans of the Sims genre can look forward to.

The page available on Steam, which offers the usual chance to wishlist the game, also provides a metric ton of screenshots showing the world, character customization, and much more.

The game was revealed last year at G-Star in Busan, Korea, and it certainly comes with a lot of Korean flavor, from the characters to the environments that certainly look more dense and urbanized compared to the usual Sims-style game.

inZOI is developed in Unreal Engine 5 and promises to let the player change basically every aspect of the world, with a full-fledged community simulation at its base and each character acting realistically, seeking jobs, forming relationships, and so forth.

There is also a full set of creative tools, including the ability to build homes from scratch and decorate them with plenty of customizable furniture. Of course, there are also plenty of fashion options that tend to be at the core of this kind of genre.

While it isn’t new, you can take a look at the gameplay in the video below.

We also get to take a look at the system requirements, which are admittedly slightly on the demanding side. Yet, considering the complex world simulation the game promises, that’s not exactly surprising.

Minimum:

  • Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system
  • OS: Windows 10/11
  • Processor: Intel i5 10400, AMD Ryzen 3600
  • Memory: 12 GB RAM
  • Graphics: NVIDIA RTX 2060 (8G VRAM), AMD Radeon RX 5600 XT
  • DirectX: Version 12
  • Network: Broadband Internet connection
  • Storage: 60 GB available space

Recommended:

  • Memory: 16 GB RAM
  • Graphics: NVIDIA RTX 3070 (8G VRAM), AMD Radeon RX 6800 XT
  • DirectX: Version 12
  • Network: Broadband Internet connection
  • Storage: 75 GB available space

At the moment, we don’t know when the game will be released, but we do know that it should first come in early access and it’ll be showcased at Gamescom later this month.

Considering the untimely end of Life by You at the hands of Paradox, it’s good to see that another competitor for EA’s The Sims series is on the horizon. We all know the genre needs some fresh air.
