Today, EA Sports and Codemasters released new Driver Ratings for the EA Sports F1 25: 2026 Season Pack, covering results from the opening rounds through the Monaco Grand Prix.
As with previous EA Sports F1 25 updates, the rating updates directly affect AI driver performance in-game and are determined by recent race data, current form, and expert input. Pace remains the most important factor in each driver’s overall rating, especially based on the most recent changes.
You can see all the key driver changes right below:

- Kimi Antonelli (+5) – Championship leader and one of the season’s standout performers; biggest rating increase alongside Arvid Lindblad.
- Lewis Hamilton (+1) – Improved comfort at Ferrari and a strong podium streak boost his rating.
- George Russell (-1) – Strong start to the season, but recently outperformed by teammate Antonelli.
- Lando Norris (-2) – The reigning champion’s difficult start to 2026 results in a ratings drop.
- Isack Hadjar (+1) – Continues to impress after joining Red Bull.
- Liam Lawson (+1) – Consistent points finishes earn him a small increase.
- Pierre Gasly (+1) – Strong points-scoring form with an improved Alpine team.
- Arvid Lindblad (+5) – Rewarded for scoring his first F1 points, matching Antonelli for the largest gain.
- Carlos Sainz (-1) – Williams’ struggles contribute to a slight decline.
- Alex Albon (-2) – Limited results for Williams lead to a larger reduction.
- Gabriel Bortoleto (+1) – Strong early performances help raise his rating despite Audi’s adjustment period.
- Fernando Alonso (-1) – Aston Martin’s lack of competitiveness limits opportunities to showcase his pace.
- Valtteri Bottas (-2) – Challenging start for Cadillac and slower pace relative to teammate Perez results in a downgrade.
The post also breaks down the reasoning behind the Driver ratings changes and how they are calculated, using four key categories: Experience, Racecraft, Awareness, and Pace. All of these lead to a combined score of the Overall Rating:
- Experience (EXP): Number of career race starts.
- Racecraft (RAC): Ability to overtake and progress through the field.
- Awareness (AWA): Capacity to avoid incidents and penalties.
- Pace (PAC): Competitiveness relative to the fastest laps during race weekends.
EA Sports also confirmed that the latest F2 season content for EA Sports F1 25 will be added later this year, alongside ongoing quality-of-life updates to improve the overall 2026 Championship experience and address community feedback.
