Helldivers 2: Servants of Freedom is set to give players a big arsenal, one that can avenge Super Earth like no other Warbond before it. You can see a breakdown of the weapons, stratagem, and throwable below:

  • LAS-17 Double-Edge Sickle – This Primary Weapon deals constant burn damage to anyone it hits, roasting the enemies of democracy over an open flame.
  • GP-31 Ultimatum – While it may be a Secondary Weapon, this front-loaded grenade pistol acts like a close-quartered grenade launcher.
  • B-100 Portable Hellbom – Boasting a 10-second (noncancelable) countdown, this backpack bomb will clear an area in one fell swoop.
  • G-50 Seeker – A small drone that follows you around and deals damage to nearby enemies; it can also be sent toward pinged enemies.

Alongside this, there are two armor sets that’ll prove who the most loyal and democratic patriots in all of the core are while also looking pretty intimidating to boot. You can take a look at all of the unlockables coming in the Warbond and how they’ll look gameplay-wise in the new trailer:

  • Emotes: Raise Weapon
  • Player Title: Servant of Freedom
  • Capes: Fire Liberam & Per Democrasm
  • Player Banners: Fire Liberam & Per Democrasm
  • Armor Sets: IE-3 Martyr & IE-12 Righteous

As with other Helldiver 2 Warbonds, Servants of Freedom requires the base game, paid purchase of Super Credits, and game progression in order to unlock specific content.

In other Helldivers 2 news, Arrowhead Games dropped a quality-of-life update for players today. Patch 01.002.101 features some noticeable balances and bug fixes, including altering spray weapons gas effect duration, reworking the AX/TX-13 “Guard Dog” Dog Breath, and tweaking emotes while ragdolling. You can check out the full list of changes here.

Helldivers 2 was originally released on PS5 and PC back in February 2024, becoming an overnight success. With over 12 million sold in 12 weeks of its release, it became the fastest-selling PlayStation game of all time and simultaneously became Sony’s most successful Windows title.

Helldivers 2 is currently available for PlayStation 5 and PC, starting at a price-point of $39.99. For more information on the Sony shooter and plenty of other gaming and sim content, be sure to check back to Simulation Daily.
