MSFS 2024 Sim Update 5.1 Beta Released to Address Issues Affecting PS5 and Xbox Users

Microsoft released the beta of an incremental update for MSFS 2024, Sim Update 5.1.
This update comes for all platforms, but it’s explicitly aimed at solving stability problems and crashes that have been affecting users on consoles. As usual, participating is optional, and the intent is to gather additional community data and feedback to continue identifying and addressing other underlying causes of the core memory and avionics issues affecting both Xbox and PS5.
The patch notes are as follows.

- Fixed various crashes and improved memory usage.
- Fixed freeze during library object loading.

General Bug Fixes
- Fixed burn ground effect in firefighting missions.
- On PlayStation 5, fixed an issue that would prevent to launch heavy cargo missions.
The beta of Sim Update 6 will start in the weeks following the release of Sim Update 5.1.
MBB Bo 105 for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 and MSFS 2020 Gets Release Date






Stratoware and Miltech Simulations announced a release date for the MBB Bo 105 (Messerschmitt-Bölkow-Blohm Bo 105) helicopter for MSFS 2024 and MSFS 2020.
It’ll release on May 22 with the following features.
- 13 variants: Medical, Military ATGM, Aerobatic with smoke system, Broadcast with functional FLIR, Police with searchlight, Mountain Rescue with hoist, Floats, Snow Shoes, Tall Skids, Sling (Mission Hub compatible), and more
- 50+ liveries across the fleet – shoutout to HUES for their help with liveries!
- Teufelsgraben, Germany scenery included
- Immersive sound pack by Echo 19, crafted from real-world recordings of N8809W
Embraer Phenom 300E for MSFS 2024 Gets New Trailer Showing Avionics
FSReborn released another trailer of the Embraer Phenom 300E business jet, which is going to be released “very soon” for MSFS 2024.
This time around, the video focuses on showing the aircraft’s advanced avionics.
Charlotte Douglas International Airport Teased for MSFS

Pacific Islands Simulation teased a new airport with the image above, and it’s obviously Charlotte Douglas International Airport (KCLT)
Tulsa Riverside Airport and Destin Executive Airport Released for MSFS 2024

Dreamflight Studios announced that Jackson Hole Airport (KJAC) in the United States will be released for X-Plane 12. Release is “very close.”
