Arrowhead Game Studios has revealed that the next Helldivers 2 Warbond, Into the Unjust, is set to release next week. New details about the Warbond have also been revealed, like the new Hive Worlds, cave systems, enemy species, and more.
Into the Unjust brings players into the foggy Gloom around Hive Worlds. There, they’ll find caves and winding underground tunnels. These tunnels are full of Hive Lung, which creates Gloom. These small spaces aren’t compatible with Super Destroyers, so players will have to rely on their teammates.
When it comes to enemies, players will encounter new species of Terminid Warriors, Bile Spewers, and Chargers that have been mutated by the Gloom. These enemies can burrow underground to get closer to players before coming back up and attacking.
There’s also a new version of the Dragonroach that can fly and attack players from above.
Liberating the Hive Worlds brings new challenges, such as protecting a mobile oil rig.
Hell Divers 2: Into the Unjust will be released on September 2 on PC and PlayStation 5. It’ll also be available on Xbox Series X|S, where the game launched today.
Along with Into the Unjust is the Dust Devils Premium Warbond. This Warbond, officially from the in-game Ministry of Defense, includes the following weapons:
- AR-2 Coyote Weapon (assault rifle with flaming bullets)
- G-7 Pineapple (cluster frag grenade)
- S-11 Speargun (fires projectiles that make gas clouds)
- EAT-700 Expendable Napalm (single-use missile full of napalm cluster bombs)
- MS-11 Solo Silo (long-range, single-use missile)
There are also new customization options, including two new capes: DS-42 Federation’s Blade and DS-191 Scorpion. Each of these also comes with a player card. The Premium Warbond will also include a Burier of Heads title, Raider’s Cheer emote, and Rattlesnake pattern for Hellpods and vehicles.
The Dust Devils Premium Warbond will become available on September 4, a few days after Into the Unjust.
