The video has Game Director Hyunil Jang and Narrative Designer Richard as they explain what awaits players going forward as the game approaches its full release.

First of all, perhaps the most exciting news is that the next chapter of the story will lead the player to Stannis Baratheon’s domain, the Stormlands. This is interesting because we don’t see or hear much about this area of Westeros in either the TV show or the books.

We’ll get to see the influence of the priesthood of the Red God on the area, and the story will take a bleak turn. The video shows both cutscenes from the area and concept art.

We also hear that Drogon will appear less frequently to encourage players to group up. The developers are working on rebalancing the RP system to provide more RP per day, and also to implement content that can be enjoyed without RP.

More rewards will be introduced for players who participated in the early access, and the full launch will support Portuguese and Turkish localizations.

Lastly, while Game of Thrones: Kingsroad will launch in Asia at a later time compared to the rest of the world, most of the region should receive it before the end of the year.

Besides the current Steam version, Game of Thrones: Kingsroad is also coming for iOS and Android, although the full release date is unknown.

The game fully official and it’ll feature many known characters from the TV series, including their actors’ likenesses. Speaking of likeness, you can also check out the extensive character creation suite.
