Ichibe Hyosube is a powerful Shinigami and the commander of the Soul King’s Royal Guard, also known as Squad Zero. He is available for anyone that is a Bleach: Rebirth of Souls Season Pass owner as early as tomorrow.

Everyone else will have to wait one week later when he arrives to the game on October 28, 2025. You can get a sneak peek at what he looks like in game and his abilities below:

Bleach Rebirth of Souls was originally announced back in July at Anime Expo 2024 and is being developed by Tamsoft, who are best known for their work on Oneechanbara and Senran Kagura. It was released for Xbox Series X|S, PC (Steam), PS5 & PS4 on March 21, 2025.

The game covers most of the anime and manga that it draws its inspiration from, going from the beginning of the story in The Substitute Soul Reaper story arc through the end of The Fake Karakura Town Arc. There are five maps in total, one for each of the primary arcs, as well as missions that feature secret side content and extra rewards.

Bleach Rebirth of Souls features a unique fighting system, using a counter feature that is similar to rock-paper-scissors rules, with one attack being strong against one attack type but weak against others. The goal of each fight is to deplete an opponent’s Konpaku (lives) to 0 which can be done by performing a Kikkon move once the opponent’s health is at a critical state.
