Come with us to explore Corfu International Airport (LGKR) in Greece in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, thanks to the simulator’s walkaround feature.
This is a rather special release, as it marks the return of Gaya Simulations to the third-party add-on market after the veteran developer worked for years exclusively for Microsoft itself, creating many of the airports included in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 and in various official World Updates.
Their latest official release was Vienna 2.0 all the way back in December 2022, so it has been a while.
This means that many of you, if you’re relatively new to flight simulation, may not know the Gaya name at all, despite having many of their creations already installed in your sim.
That being said, Gaya has made a name for itself since 2019, creating some great airports even before they started working for Microsoft, and they certainly appear to be ready to make a big comeback.
Corfu Airport, which you can now find on Orbx Direct, was built from the ground up for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, and it promises plenty of details both within the relatively small airport and outside of it, reproducing some of the most enchanting views of the popular island in the Ionian Sea.

Please keep in mind that this isn’t a review, but simply an exploration of the airport and its features with a completely unscripted narration.
