HoYoverse presented Zenless Zone Zero version 2.1, which will soon bring new content to the popular free-to-play action RPG.
First of all, the update, which is dubbed “The Impending Crash of Waves,” will release on July 16, in less than two weeks.
The story will get updated to Season 2 Chapter 2 and let players explore two new locations, Sailume Bay and Fantasy Resort.
New characters for the usual two phases within the patch cycles will include Ukinami Yuzuha, an S-Rank Physical Support Agent, and Alice Thymefield, an S-Rank Physical Anomaly Agent. We’re also getting Miss Esme, an S-Rank Bangboo.
Returning characters for the gacha are also Miyabi (S-Rank Frost Anomaly) and Yanagi (S-Rank Electric Anomaly.
As usual, the update will also come with plenty of summery events to enjoy, and you can take a look at what you can expect in the trailer and gallery below.
As usual with reveals of new updates, we also get the traditional code to unlock Polychrome and more. This time there is just one and it’s as follows:

On top of that, all players are going to be given 1,600 Polychromes to be claimed before the end of the update directly in game.
