Today, Blizzard officially announced that World of Warcraft: Midnight expansion would be released worldwide on March 2, 2026, at 3:00 pm PST.
Anyone who has purchased any edition of the World of Warcraft: Midnight expansion can secure Housing Early Access starting December 2, 2025. They will also be able to access “The Warning” Midnight Prologue content update, which lets them join a neighborhood, choose a house, and start customizing their new home with Housing Early Access.
Anyone who didn’t get a pre-order can still access Housing collection through a variety of activities and achievements, or by purchasing them from vendors throughout Azeroth.
In World of Warcraft: Midnight, players will experience the next chapter in the Worldsoul Saga, as Xal’atath, the Harbinger, unleashes chaos in her wake with the ensuing invasion striking into the heart of the blood elf homelands in Eversong Woods. Players will now be able to level up to 90 and explore four new and reimagined zones: Eversong Woods, Zul’aman, Harandar, and Voidstorm.
Your Arator’s journey begins in the Eversong Woods, but features three available paths you can tackle in any order: brave the ancient troll kingdom of Zul’Aman, investigate the gnarled hidden roots of Harandar, or accompany Arator on his journey to better understand his relationships with both his family and the Light. The DLC also adds a New Demon Hunter Specialization with Devourer.
The Deveourer lets you harness the Void with unique ranged abilities ripped from your enemies. Void Elves can also heed the call of the Demon Hunter, taking up the mantle to push back against the hungry forces of the Void. Learn more.
World of Warcraft: Midnight features plenty of additional content to explore alongside the main story, including new Delves, eight new Dungeons, and three new raids. You can find out more about this and other quality of life updates alongside the newest expansion on the official website.
It is also important to note that Midnight beta tests are also currently available. Players who purchase or who upgrade to the Epic Edition of Midnight will gain immediate access to the beta, and anyone else who is selected will be notified via email. Anyone interested can sign up here.
