Nine Rocks Games announced today that Way of the Hunter, the hunting adventure sim, reached 1 million copies sold. To celebrate the accomplishment, Way of the Hunter is getting the Night Hunting Pack DLC, which had previously only been teased.
The Night Hunting Pack DLC will be released on June 11, 2025, a day after the announcement. Last week, Nine Rocks Games teased that a new update would be released tomorrow, with several teasing remarks about the nighttime.
The DLC will, as the name suggests, focus on hunting at night. According to Nine Rocks Games, this has been one of the most-requested additions to Way of the Hunter since it was released in 2022.
The Night Hunting Pack DLC will include new tools and systems to make night hunting feel as unique and intense as it does in real life. The picture for the DLC shows off binoculars and different scopes.
Nine Rocks Games also brought up many of the past added content for Way of the Hunter, both free and paid, thanking players for all their feedback and interest in the game. Players can reminisce as well with the images from the developers:
Though the Way of the Hunter Night Hunting Pack DLC won’t be released until tomorrow, content creators have access to it now. Players can check out their favorite creators to get a first look at the new features.
Way of the Hunter is available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
