Hotta Studio has revealed that Tower of Fantasy, its open-world RPG with MMO elements, is getting a brand-new “Warp Server” dedicated to MMO features, along with Version 5.5, on November 25.

The new Tower of Fantasy server, Warp Server, is a completely new experience geared towards players who want to focus on the MMO aspects of the game. This is also meant to be better for new players.

Perhaps the most shocking part of the Warp Server is the removal of the gacha system. Instead of drawing (or pulling or wishing) on banners for weapons and characters (ie Simulacrum), players will be given these for free.

There will still be plenty of cosmetics, like Player Outfits, Mi-a’s Outfits, Mounts, and Accessories, that players can earn with daily challenges and events. Plus, a new Trade System brings a new currency, Dark Crystals, that lets players trade these cosmetic items as well as resources.

Additionally, the Crew Base gives players a place to trade and talk to other players. Plus, there will be veteran players on standby to support newer players as they learn how to play the game. New Crew GVE Events will also help with this.

The Warp Server will work on 25-week seasons. When the season changes, players will have their progression reset, which will affect things like equipment attributes.

Last week, Hotta Studio had a live Q&A to address the details of the new Tower of Fantasy Warp Server. Players can watch it below:

That’s not all for Tower of Fantasy. Version 5.5 will be coming at the same time, continuing the story and introducing a new Simulacrum, Veronika, and the Volt Weapon Visios.

A new event, Kailo Night Fever, will also kick off. This event puts eight players together, choosing one to be a Specter. The Spectar will try to avoid the other players, while the other players will gain points by catching the Specter.

The event offers up to 221 gacha pulls, so players should take advantage of it.

Version 5.5 and the new Warp Server for Tower of Fantasy will launch on November 25, 2025, on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and mobile devices.
