Destiny 2 Reveals The Fate Saga and Much More

Bungie hosted its big reveal for the upcoming saga that will accompany Destiny 2 for the time being, titled The Fate Saga.

The celebrations begin today with the Rite of the Nine event. It’ll include three familiar dungeons with a twist. Prophecy, Spire of the Watcher, and Ghosts of the Deep.

On July 15, the paid expansion The Edge of Fate will come with a free core update for everyone. Another major update titled Ash & Iron will come on September 9, followed by the paid expansion Renegades on December 2. The next major update will be on March 2, 2026, titled Shadow & Order.

Interestingly, the Renegades expansion will be inspired by Star Wars, as mentioned by Destiny Vice President Justin Truman.

“It’s a Destiny story at heart, but with a Star Wars-inspired take that’s been a dream for us to explore.”
