The Legend of Heroes: Trails through Daybreak II Gets Trailer Focusing on Story and Characters

NIS America released a new trailer of Nihon Falcom’s JRPG The Legend of Heroes: Trails through Daybreak II, focusing on introducing the story and characters.

The game will release on February 14, 2025, for PS5, PS4, Nintendo Switch, and PC.

Fairy Tail 2 Trailer Shows Original Story

Koei Tecmo also released a story trailer for a JRPG, and specifically Fairy Tail 2. The trailer showcases a new and original story titled “Key to the Unknown” set after the events of the Alvarez Empire Arc.

We also learn that the “Character Stories” feature will focus on providing new insight in the characters and will include “new interactions and special moments” unique to the game.

The game comes on December 11 for PC via Steam and December 13 for PS5, PS4, and Nintendo Switch.

Arcade Classic Under Defeat Has a Release Date on Modern Platforms

The re-release on modern platforms of the arcade classic shooter Under Defeat now has a release date for the West. Happily, it’s the same as Japan, so we’ll get the game on PS5, PS4, PC, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox on December 5.

The game was originally released in Japanese arcades in 2005, and this new release includes the original Arcade Mode featuring a 4:3 aspect ratio and a pseudo vertical screen.

The New Order Mode adopts a modern 16:9 aspect ratio, while New Order Mode+ includes new additional elements like the “warning gauge” and more.
