The Crew Motorfest Showcase in September talked a bit about what Season 5 would look like. Players knew that Maui would be coming with Season 5, and the new island will be free for players to explore. There are nine new areas and biomes and 470 km of roads to drive on. It’s also easy to get to – Maui will be accessible from O’ahu with zero loading time.

It was also previously announced that Made In Japan Volume 2 would be part of Season 5. This free playlist will take players through the street racing scene of Japan at night. After completing the playlist, players will unlock Rival Races. These are 21 races across Maui and O’ahu that have special rewards.

Additionally, the Chase Squad playlist is coming at the same time. This can be purchased separately, but it’s also part of the Year 2 pass. The Chase Squad playlist will let players rise through the ranks of a squad looking to take down rival street racers. There are 21 racers to chase.

The Year 2 Pass will be released on November 6 as well. It includes the Chase Squad playlist and 20 cars throughout the year.

Season 5 also comes with several quality-of-life updates. For starters, rearview mirrors are coming to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Plus, a new currency called Prestige Tickets will be added that gives players access to prior Summit Contest rewards. New features like a No Collision mode and new Grand Race modifiers and sections are also coming with Season 5. An easy-to-use Bug Reporter will also be introduced.

The Crew Motorfest Season 5 will launch on November 6 on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Pc. Plus, it will be part of the launch games for the PlayStation 5 Pro, giving the game better visuals and performance with the new PSSR technology. On average, the game will run at 60fps with 1696 resolution for campaign missions.
