Hunter x Hunter Nen x Impact Reveals Kite
A new character has been revealed for the fighting game Hunter x Hunter Nen x Impact inspired by the popular anime and manga. This time around, we get to see Kite in a new trailer showing his moves in action.
The game releases for PS5, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam in summer 2025. It’s worth mentioning that it was originally announced for 2024, but it has been delayed back in September.
Norland Beta Patch Adds City Walls, 3D Landscapes, and More
Today Norland developer Long Jaunt released the next beta update of the popular kingdom simulator, numbered #31.
First of all, it brings city walls, with the ability to build wooden walls, defensive towers, and city gates. Functionality to city gates will be added at a later time, like regulating migration.
Next week, the developers will also enable the AI to build their own walls and introduce additional threats to make wall-building worth it. For instance, sudden attacks will return.
The landscape has been upgraded to 3D. For now, it’s mostly decorative, but gameplay elements will be added like the ability for archers to shoot further from higher positions. The landscape will also be improved visually thanks to the hiring of a new artist.
Lastly, Praise and Slander are now available on the local map and not just on the global map.
The developer plan to keep these updates in beta for a week or two.
Epic Games Store on Mobile Starts Distributing Third-party Games
Epic Games Store is expanding its offer on mobile (which is still limited to Android outside of Europe) by offering free games and third-party games besides its own, bringing the experience closer to the EGS on PC.
For now, the launch lineup includes Dungeon of the Endless: Apogee and Bloons TD 6, but more games will be added on a monthly basis, which will switch to weekly later in the year, so it’ll take time for the mobile EGS to build a big library.
That being said, developers can count on the same terms offered on PC, including the 88%/12% revenue share for payments processed by Epic and 0% take on third-party payments.
It’ll be interesting to see if that convinces developers to join the new store on the block.
